Vanishing theorems for compact hessian manifolds

Hirohiko Shima (1986)

Annales de l'institut Fourier

Similarity:

A manifold is said to be Hessian if it admits a flat affine connection D and a Riemannian metric g such that g = D 2 u where u is a local function. We study cohomology for Hessian manifolds, and prove a duality theorem and vanishing theorems.

Yang-Mills bar connections over compact Kähler manifolds

Hông Vân Lê (2010)

Archivum Mathematicum

Similarity:

In this note we introduce a Yang-Mills bar equation on complex vector bundles E provided with a Hermitian metric over compact Hermitian manifolds. According to the Koszul-Malgrange criterion any holomorphic structure on E can be seen as a solution to this equation. We show the existence of a non-trivial solution to this equation over compact Kähler manifolds as well as a short time existence of a related negative Yang-Mills bar gradient flow. We also show a rigidity of holomorphic connections...

On the conformal relation between twistors and Killing spinors

Friedrich, Thomas

Similarity:

[For the entire collection see Zbl 0699.00032.] The author considers the conformal relation between twistors and spinors on a Riemannian spin manifold of dimension n 3 . A first integral is constructed for a twistor spinor and various geometric properties of the spin manifold are deduced. The notions of a conformal deformation and a Killing spinor are considered and such a deformation of a twistor spinor into a Killing spinor and conditions for the equivalence of these quantities is indicated. ...
