MSC 2010: 44A20, 33C60, 44A10, 26A33, 33C20, 85A99The fractional calculus of the P-transform or pathway transform which is a generalization of many well known integral transforms is studied. The Mellin and Laplace transforms of a P-transform are obtained. The composition formulae for the various fractional operators such as Saigo operator, Kober operator and Riemann-Liouville fractional integral and differential operators with P-transform are proved. Application of the P-transform in reaction rate...
According to general relativity, a binary consisting of spinning bodies will precess due to spin-orbit and spin-spin coupling. The corresponding modulation of its gravitational waves might be a serious problem for detecting such waves with simple post-Newtonian templates. A new family of templates that takes into account the complications arising from the orbital precession is proposed and its application and performance are discussed.
We consider hydrodynamical models describing the evolution of a gaseous star in which the presence of thermonuclear reactions between several species leads to a multicomponent formulation. In the case of binary mixtures, recent 3D results are evoked. In the one-dimensional situation, we can prove global estimates and stabilization for some simplified model.
In this work, we prove the nonlinear stability of galaxy models derived from the three dimensional gravitational Vlasov Poisson system, which is a canonical model in astrophysics to describe the dynamics of galactic clusters.
The time-dependent intensity of a UV-photon source, located inside an interstellar cloud, is determined by formulating and solving an inverse problem for the integro-differential transport equation of photons in a one-dimensional slab. Starting from a discretizazion of the forward problem, an iterative procedure is used to compute the values of the source intensity at increasing values of the time.
