In this article a method is presented to find systematically the domain of attraction (DOA) of hybrid non-linear systems. It has already been shown that there exists a sequence of special kind of Lyapunov functions in a rational functional form approximating a maximal Lyapunov function that can be used to find an estimation for the DOA. Based on this idea, an improved method has been developed and implemented in a Mathematica-package to find such Lyapunov functions for a class of hybrid (piecewise...
In this paper, we study differential equations arising from the generating functions of the generalized Bell polynomials. We give explicit identities for the generalized Bell polynomials. Finally, we investigate the zeros of the generalized Bell polynomials by using numerical simulations.
In this paper, using the properties of the Henstock-Kurzweil integral and corresponding theorems, we prove the existence theorem for the equation x' = f(t,x) and inclusion x' ∈ F(t,x) in a Banach space, where f is Henstock-Kurzweil integrable and satisfies some conditions.
We give a meaning to derivative of a function , where is a complete metric space. This enables us to investigate differential equations in a metric space. One can prove in particular Gronwall’s Lemma, Peano and Picard Existence Theorems, Lyapunov Theorem or Nagumo Theorem in metric spaces. The main idea is to define the tangent space of . Let , be continuous at zero. Then by the definition and are in the same equivalence class if they are tangent at zero, that is if
