This paper is a continuation of our previous investigations on the truncated matrix trigonometric moment problem in Ukrainian Math. J., 2011, 63, no. 6, 786-797, and Ukrainian Math. J., 2013, 64, no. 8, 1199- 1214. In this paper we shall study the truncated matrix trigonometric moment problem with an additional constraint posed on the matrix measure MT(δ), δ ∈ B(T), generated by the seeked function M(x): MT(∆) = 0, where ∆ is a given open subset of T (called a gap). We present necessary...

2000 Mathematics Subject Classification: 42B10, 43A32. In this paper we take the strip KL = [0, +∞[×[−Lπ, Lπ], where L is a positive integer. We consider, for a nonnegative real number α, two partial differential operators D and Dα on ]0, +∞[×] − Lπ, Lπ[. We associate a generalized Fourier transform Fα to the operators D and Dα. For this transform Fα, we establish an Lp − Lq − version of the Morgan's theorem under the assumption 1 ≤ p, q ≤ +∞.

We consider a stationary symmetric stable bidimensional process with discrete time, having the spectral representation (1.1). We consider a general case where the spectral measure is assumed to be the sum of an absolutely continuous measure, a discrete measure of finite order and a finite number of absolutely continuous measures on several lines. We estimate the density of the absolutely continuous measure and the density on the lines.

The paper deals with operator-valued positive definite kernels on a convex *-semigroup whose Kolmogorov-Aronszajn type factorizations induce *-semigroups of bounded shift operators. Any such kernel Φ has a canonical decomposition into a degenerate and a nondegenerate part. In case is commutative, Φ can be disintegrated with respect to some tight positive operator-valued measure defined on the characters of if and only if Φ is nondegenerate. It is proved that a representing measure of...

This text contains a slightly expanded version of my 6 hour mini-course at the PDE-meeting in Évian-les-Bains in June 2009. The first part gives some old and recent results on non-self-adjoint differential operators. The second part is devoted to recent results about Weyl distribution of eigenvalues of elliptic operators with small random perturbations. Part III, in collaboration with B. Helffer, gives explicit estimates in the Gearhardt-Prüss theorem for semi-groups.
