Some remarks on Prüfer modules

S. Ebrahimi Atani, S. Dolati Pishhesari, M. Khoramdel (2013)

Discussiones Mathematicae - General Algebra and Applications

Similarity:

We provide several characterizations and investigate properties of Prüfer modules. In fact, we study the connections of such modules with their endomorphism rings. We also prove that for any Prüfer module M, the forcing linearity number of M, fln(M), belongs to {0,1}.

Indecomposable primarily comultiplication modules over a pullback of two Dedekind domains

S. Ebrahimi Atani, F. Esmaeili Khalil Saraei (2010)

Colloquium Mathematicae

Similarity:

We describe all those indecomposable primarily comultiplication modules with finite-dimensional top over pullback of two Dedekind domains. We extend the definition and results given by R. Ebrahimi Atani and S. Ebrahimi Atani [Algebra Discrete Math. 2009] to a more general primarily comultiplication modules case.

Limits of tilting modules

Clezio A. Braga, Flávio U. Coelho (2009)

Colloquium Mathematicae

Similarity:

We study the problem of when a direct limit of tilting modules is still a tilting module.

Rigidity of generalized Verma modules

Oleksandr Khomenko, Volodymyr Mazorchuk (2002)

Colloquium Mathematicae

Similarity:

We prove that generalized Verma modules induced from generic Gelfand-Zetlin modules, and generalized Verma modules associated with Enright-complete modules, are rigid. Their Loewy lengths and quotients of the unique Loewy filtrations are calculated for the regular block of the corresponding category 𝒪(𝔭,Λ).

Modules for which the natural map of the maximal spectrum is surjective

H. Ansari-Toroghy, R. Ovlyaee-Sarmazdeh (2010)

Colloquium Mathematicae

Similarity:

Let R be a commutative ring with identity. The purpose of this paper is to introduce two new classes of modules over R, called Ms modules and fulmaximal modules respectively. The first (resp. second) class contains the family of finitely generated and primeful (resp. finitely generated and multiplication) modules properly. Our concern is to extend some properties of primeful and multiplication modules to these new classes of modules.

Comultiplication modules over a pullback of Dedekind domains

Reza Ebrahimi Atani, Shahabaddin Ebrahimi Atani (2009)

Czechoslovak Mathematical Journal

Similarity:

First, we give complete description of the comultiplication modules over a Dedekind domain. Second, if R is the pullback of two local Dedekind domains, then we classify all indecomposable comultiplication R -modules and establish a connection between the comultiplication modules and the pure-injective modules over such domains.

Strongly rectifiable and S-homogeneous modules

Libuše Tesková (2000)

Discussiones Mathematicae - General Algebra and Applications

Similarity:

In this paper we introduce the class of strongly rectifiable and S-homogeneous modules. We study basic properties of these modules, of their pure and refined submodules, of Hill's modules and we also prove an extension of the second Prüfer's theorem.

Weak Krull-Schmidt theorem

Ladislav Bican (1998)

Commentationes Mathematicae Universitatis Carolinae

Similarity:

Recently, A. Facchini [3] showed that the classical Krull-Schmidt theorem fails for serial modules of finite Goldie dimension and he proved a weak version of this theorem within this class. In this remark we shall build this theory axiomatically and then we apply the results obtained to a class of some modules that are torsionfree with respect to a given hereditary torsion theory. As a special case we obtain that the weak Krull-Schmidt theorem holds for the class of modules that are...
