A note on tilting sequences

Clezio Braga, Flávio Coelho (2008)

Open Mathematics

Similarity:

We discuss the existence of tilting modules which are direct limits of finitely generated tilting modules over tilted algebras.

Limits of tilting modules

Clezio A. Braga, Flávio U. Coelho (2009)

Colloquium Mathematicae

Similarity:

We study the problem of when a direct limit of tilting modules is still a tilting module.

A note on quasitilted algebras

Andrzej Skowroński, Adam Skowyrski (2014)

Colloquium Mathematicae

Similarity:

We provide a characterization of artin algebras without chains of nonzero homomorphisms between indecomposable finitely generated modules starting with an injective module and ending with a projective module.

Directing components for quasitilted algebras

Flávio Coelho (1999)

Colloquium Mathematicae

Similarity:

We show here that a directing component of the Auslander-Reiten quiver of a quasitilted algebra is either postprojective or preinjective or a connecting component.

On large selforthogonal modules

Gabriella D'Este (2006)

Commentationes Mathematicae Universitatis Carolinae

Similarity:

We construct non faithful direct summands of tilting (resp. cotilting) modules large enough to inherit a functorial tilting (resp. cotilting) behaviour.

On certain classes of modules.

Kalathoor Varadarajan (1992)

Publicacions Matemàtiques

Similarity:

Let be a class or R-modules containing 0 and closed under isomorphic images. With any such we associate three classes Γ, F and Δ. The study of some of the closure properties of these classes allows us to obtain characterization of Artinian modules dualizing results of Chatters. The theory of Dual Glodie dimension as developed by the author in some of his earlier work plays a crucial role in the present paper.
