Cancellation law for pseudo-convolutions based on triangular norms is discussed. In more details, the cases of extremal t-norms and , of continuous Archimedean t-norms, and of general continuous t-norms are investigated. Several examples are included.
The integral inequalities known for the Lebesgue integral are discussed in the framework of the Choquet integral. While the Jensen inequality was known to be valid for the Choquet integral without any additional constraints, this is not more true for the Cauchy, Minkowski, Hölder and other inequalities. For a fixed monotone measure, constraints on the involved functions sufficient to guarantee the validity of the discussed inequalities are given. Moreover, the comonotonicity of the considered functions...
Recently, the parameter estimations for normal fuzzy variables in the Nahmias’ sense was studied by Cai [4]. These estimates were also studied for general -related, but not necessarily normal fuzzy variables by Hong [10] In this paper, we report on some properties of estimators that would appear to be desirable, including unbiasedness. We also consider asymptotic or “large-sample” properties of a particular type of estimator.
We characterize Łukasiewicz tribes, i.e., collections of fuzzy sets that are closed under the standard fuzzy complementation and the Łukasiewicz t-norm with countably many arguments. As a tool, we introduce σ-McNaughton functions as the closure of McNaughton functions under countable MV-algebraic operations. We give a measure-theoretical characterization of σ-complete MV-algebras which are isomorphic to Łukasiewicz tribes.
In this work we study some properties of the twofold integral and, in particular, its relation with the 2-step Choquet integral. First, we prove that the Sugeno integral can be represented as a 2-step Choquet integral. Then, we turn into the twofold integral studying some of its properties, establishing relationships between this integral and the Choquet and Sugeno ones and proving that it can be represented in terms of 2-step Choquet integral.
