Bounded commutative residuated lattice ordered monoids ( $R ℓ$ -monoids) are a common generalization of, e.g., $B L$ -algebras and Heyting algebras. In the paper, the properties of local and perfect bounded commutative $R ℓ$ -monoids are investigated.
