Some Common Fixed Point Theorems in Menger Spaces

Sunny Chauhan, B. D. Pant (2013)

Acta Universitatis Palackianae Olomucensis. Facultas Rerum Naturalium. Mathematica

In this paper, we prove some common fixed point theorems for occasionally weakly compatible mappings in Menger spaces. An example is also given to illustrate the main result. As applications to our results, we obtain the corresponding fixed point theorems in metric spaces. Our results improve and extend many known results existing in the literature.

The fuzzy metric space based on fuzzy measure

Jialiang Xie, Qingguo Li, Shuili Chen, Huan Huang (2016)

Open Mathematics

In this paper, we study the relation between a fuzzy measure and a fuzzy metric which is induced by the fuzzy measure. We also discuss some basic properties of the constructed fuzzy metric space. In particular, we show that the nonatom of fuzzy measure space can be characterized in the constructed fuzzy metric space.

Weak and Semi Compatible Maps in Probabilistic Metric Space Using Implicit Relation

Dhagat, Vanita Ben, Sharma, Akshay (2008)

Serdica Mathematical Journal

2000 Mathematics Subject Classification: 54H25, 47H10.The concept of semi compatibility is given in probabilistic metric space and it has been applied to prove the existence of unique common fixed point of four self-maps with weak compatibility satisfying an implicit relation. At the end we provide examples in support of the result.Authors thank to MPCOST, Bhopal for financial support through the project M-19/2006.
