Su un problema di diramazione riguardante i moti convettivi in un fluido viscoso
We consider bifurcation problems associated with some lower semicontinuous functionals that do not satisfy the usual regularity assumptions. For such functionals it is possible to define a generalized "Hessian form" and to show that certain eigenvalues of this one are bifurcation values. The results are applied to a bifurcation problem for elliptic variational inequalities.

We study semilinear equations and inequalities of parabolic type with discontinuous nonlinearities, possibly subjected to convex or even nonconvex constraint conditions. To prove some existence theorems we regard the solutions as «curves of maximal relaxed slope» for a suitable functional on the given constraint.
We study the existence of regular periodic solutions to some dynamical systems whose potential energy is negative, has only a singular point and goes to zero at iniìnity. We give sufficient conditions to the existence of periodic solutions of assigned period which do not meet the singularity.

We study a class of functions which differ essentially from those which are the sum of a convex function and a regular one and which have interesting properties related to -convergence and to problems with non-convex constraints. In particular some results are given for the associated evolution equations.

In this note a definition of “Maximal decreasing curve” is given, which extends the usual notion of solution of an evolution problem of the type, for example, of the heat equation. This definition seems the right one in order to study many limit cases of evolution problems which have been settled only in the convex case.
