Nonexistence of local solutions to semilinear partial differential inequalities
We derive a global differential inequality for solutions of a free boundary problem for a viscous compressible heat concluding capillary fluid. The inequality is essential in proving the global existence of solutions.
In the paper the differential inequality where , , is studied. Sufficient conditions on the function are established, which guarantee nonexistence of an eventually positive solution. The generalized Riccati transformation is the main tool.
