We describe alternate methods of solution for a model arising in the work of Seiberg and Witten on N = 2 supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory and provide a complete argument for the characterization put forth by Argyres, Faraggi, and Shapere of the curve I m a D / a = 0 .

By using a supersymmetric gaussian representation, we transform the averaged Green's function for random walks in random potentials into a 2-point correlation function of a corresponding lattice field theory. We study the resulting lattice field theory using the Witten laplacian formulation. We obtain the asymptotics for the directional Lyapunov exponents.

Dirac-harmonic maps are a mathematical version (with commuting variables only) of the solutions of the field equations of the non-linear supersymmetric sigma model of quantum field theory.
