Polynomial interpolation and approximation in d

T. Bloom, L. P. Bos, J.-P. Calvi, N. Levenberg (2012)

Annales Polonici Mathematici

We update the state of the subject approximately 20 years after the publication of T. Bloom, L. Bos, C. Christensen, and N. Levenberg, Polynomial interpolation of holomorphic functions in ℂ and ℂⁿ, Rocky Mountain J. Math. 22 (1992), 441-470. This report is mostly a survey, with a sprinkling of assorted new results throughout.

Polynomially convex hulls of families of arcs

Zbigniew Słodkowski (2004)

Studia Mathematica

The paper is devoted to the study of polynomially convex hulls of compact subsets of ℂ², fibered over the boundary of the unit disc, such that all fibers are simple arcs in the plane and their endpoints form boundaries of two closed, not intersecting analytic discs. The principal question concerned is under what additional condition such a hull is a bordered topological hypersurface and, in particular, is foliated by a unique holomorphic motion. One of the main results asserts that this happens...
