CM-selectors for pairs of oppositely semicontinuous multifunctions and some applications to strongly nonlinear inclusions.
There are studied two classes of differential inclusions with right-hand side admitting noncompact values in a Banach space. Co-density, lower semicontinuity in initial point and relaxation property of the solution set have been obtained.
This paper is based mainly on the joint paper with W. Kryszewski [Dzedzej, Z., Kryszewski, W.: Conley type index applied to Hamiltonian inclusions. J. Math. Anal. Appl. 347 (2008), 96–112.], where cohomological Conley type index for multivalued flows has been applied to prove the existence of nontrivial periodic solutions for asymptotically linear Hamiltonian inclusions. Some proofs and additional remarks concerning definition of the index and special cases are given.
In this article on quasidifferential equation with non-fixed time of impulses we consider the continuous dependence of the solutions on the initial conditions as well as the mappings defined by these equations. We prove general theorems for quasidifferential equations from which follows corresponding results for differential equations, differential inclusion and equations with Hukuhara derivative.
In this paper we extend the notion of I⁰-continuity and uniform I⁰-continuity from [2] to set-valued operators. Using these properties, we prove some results on continuous dependence of the fixed points set for families of contractive type set-valued operators.
In this paper, we shall establish sufficient conditions for the controllability on semi-infinite intervals for first and second order functional differential inclusions in Banach spaces. We shall rely on a fixed point theorem due to Ma, which is an extension on locally convex topological spaces, of Schaefer's theorem. Moreover, by using the fixed point index arguments the implicit case is treated.
Some sufficient conditions for controllability of nonlinear systems described by differential equation ẋ = f(t,x(t),u(t)) are given.
A tracking problem is considered in the context of a class of multi-input, multi-output, nonlinear systems modelled by controlled functional differential equations. The class contains, as a prototype, all finite-dimensional, linear, -input, -output, minimum-phase systems with sign-definite “high-frequency gain”. The first control objective is tracking of reference signals by the output of any system in : given , construct a feedback strategy which ensures that, for every (assumed bounded...
A tracking problem is considered in the context of a class of multi-input, multi-output, nonlinear systems modelled by controlled functional differential equations. The class contains, as a prototype, all finite-dimensional, linear, m-input, m-output, minimum-phase systems with sign-definite “high-frequency gain". The first control objective is tracking of reference signals r by the output y of any system in : given , construct a feedback strategy which ensures that, for every r (assumed bounded with...
In this paper we consider evolution inclusions of subdifferential type. First, we prove a convergence result and a continuous dependence proposition for abstract Cauchy problem of the form u' ∈ -∂⁻f(u) + G(u), u(0) = x₀, where ∂⁻f is the Fréchet subdifferential of a function f defined on an open subset Ω of a real separable Hilbert space H, taking its values in IR ∪ {+∞}, and G is a multifunction from C([0,T],Ω) into the nonempty subsets of L²([0,T],H). We obtain analogous results for the multivalued...
We consider a nonlinear differential inclusion defined by a set-valued map with nonconvex values and we prove that the reachable set of a certain variational inclusion is a derived cone in the sense of Hestenes to the reachable set of the initial differential inclusion. In order to obtain the continuity property in the definition of a derived cone we use a continuous version of Filippov's theorem for solutions of our differential inclusion. As an application, in finite dimensional spaces, we obtain...
