Intracellular Modelling of Cell-Matrix Adhesion during Cancer Cell Invasion
When invading the tissue, malignant tumour cells (i.e. cancer cells) need to detach from neighbouring cells, degrade the basement membrane, and migrate through the extracellular matrix.
