We derive estimates for various quantities which are of interest in the analysis of the Ginzburg-Landau equation, and which we bound in terms of the $GL$-energy $E_{\epsilon }$ and the parameter $\epsilon$. These estimates are local in nature, and in particular independent of any boundary condition. Most of them improve and extend earlier results on the subject.

Using the Lyapunov-Perron method, we prove the existence of an inertial manifold for the process associated to a class of non-autonomous semilinear hyperbolic equations with finite delay, where the linear principal part is positive definite with a discrete spectrum having a sufficiently large distance between some two successive spectral points, and the Lipschitz coefficient of the nonlinear term may depend on time and belongs to some admissible function spaces.

We discuss invariants and conservation laws for a nonlinear system of Klein-Gordon equations with Hamiltonian structure ⎧$u_{tt}-\Delta u+m²u=-F₁\left(\right|u|²,|v\left|²\right)u$, ⎨ ⎩$v_{tt}-\Delta v+m²v=-F₂\left(\right|u|²,|v\left|²\right)v$ for which there exists a function F(λ,μ) such that ∂F(λ,μ)/∂λ = F₁(λ,μ), ∂F(λ,μ)/∂μ = F₂(λ,μ). We consider the linearized elasticity system in a multidomain of ${𝐑}^3$. This multidomain is the union of a horizontal plate with fixed cross section and small thickness ε, and of a vertical beam with fixed height and small cross section of radius $r^{\epsilon }$. The lateral boundary of the plate and the top of the beam are assumed to be clamped. When ε and $r^{\epsilon }$ tend to zero simultaneously, with $r^{\epsilon }\gg {\epsilon }^2$, we identify the limit problem. This limit problem involves six junction conditions.
