First, some classic properties of a weighted Frobenius-Perron operator ${𝒫}_{\varphi }^u$ on $L^1\left(\Sigma \right)$ as a predual of weighted Koopman operator $W=u{U}_{\varphi }$ on $L^{\infty }\left(\Sigma \right)$ will be investigated using the language of the conditional expectation operator. Let $u$ be a holomorphic function and $\varphi$ a holomorphic self-map of the open unit disk $𝔻$ in the complex plane. We provide new characterizations for the boundedness of the weighted composition operators $u{C}_{\varphi }$ from Zygmund type spaces to Bloch type spaces in $𝔻$ in terms of $u$, $\varphi$, their derivatives, and ${\varphi }^n$, the $n$-th power of $\varphi$. We study the stability of a-Browder-type theorems for orthogonal direct sums of operators. We give counterexamples which show that in general the properties $\left(\mathrm{SBaw}\right)$, $\left(\mathrm{SBab}\right)$, $\left(\mathrm{SBw}\right)$ and $\left(\mathrm{SBb}\right)$ are not preserved under direct sums of operators. An operator T acting on a Banach space X has property (gw) if ${\sigma }_a\left(T\right)\setminus {\sigma }_{SBF₊¯}\left(T\right)=E\left(T\right)$, where ${\sigma }_a\left(T\right)$ is the approximate point spectrum of T, ${\sigma }_{SBF₊¯}\left(T\right)$ is the upper semi-B-Weyl spectrum of T and E(T) is the set of all isolated eigenvalues of T. We introduce and study two new spectral properties (v) and (gv) in connection with Weyl type theorems. Among other results, we show that T satisfies (gv) if and only if T satisfies (gw) and $\sigma \left(T\right)={\sigma }_a\left(T\right)$.

We give a negative answer to a question put by Nadkarni: Let S be an ergodic, conservative and nonsingular automorphism on $(X̃{,}_{X̃},m)$. Consider the associated unitary operators on $L²(X̃{,}_{X̃},m)$ given by $U{̃}_{S}f=\surd (d\left(m\circ S\right)/dm)·\left(f\circ S\right)$ and $\phi ·U{̃}_S$, where φ is a cocycle of modulus one. Does spectral isomorphism of these two operators imply that φ is a coboundary? To answer it negatively, we give an example which arises from an infinite measure-preserving transformation with countable Lebesgue spectrum.

We study the boundedness of the one-sided operator $g{⁺}_{\lambda ,\phi }$ between the weighted spaces $L^p\left(M¯w\right)$ and $L^p\left(w\right)$ for every weight w. If λ = 2/p whenever 1 < p < 2, and in the case p = 1 for λ > 2, we prove the weak type of $g{⁺}_{\lambda ,\phi }$. For every λ > 1 and p = 2, or λ > 2/p and 1 < p < 2, the boundedness of this operator is obtained. We present a novel approach for bounding the resolvent of $$H=-\Delta +i(A·\nabla +\nabla ·A)+V=:-\Delta +L1$$ for large energies. It is shown here that there exist a large integer $m$ and a large number ${\lambda }_0$ so that relative to the usual weighted $L^2$-norm, $$\parallel {\left(L{(-\Delta +(\lambda +i0))}^{-1}\right)}^m\parallel <\frac{1}{2}2$$ for all $\lambda >{\lambda }_0$. Let ϕ: [0,1] → [0,1] be a nondecreasing continuous function such that ϕ(x) > x for all x ∈ (0,1). Let the operator $V_{\varphi }:f\left(x\right)\mapsto {\int }_0^{\varphi \left(x\right)}f\left(t\right)dt$ be defined on L₂[0,1].
