A Construction of Surfaces with pg = 1, q = 0 and 2...(K2) ...8. Counter Examples of the Global Torelli Theorem.
We construct a higher Abel-Jacobi map for 0-cycles on complex threefolds and prove that it can be used to describe Mumford's pull-back of a differential form, and that its image is infinite-dimensional in many cases. However, making a certain assumption, we show that it is not always injective.
Let be a proper smooth variety over a field of characteristic and an effective divisor on with multiplicity. We introduce a generalized Albanese variety Alb of of modulus , as higher dimensional analogue of the generalized Jacobian with modulus of Rosenlicht-Serre. Our construction is algebraic. For we give a Hodge theoretic description.
