A procedure is proposed in order to expand where belongs to aclassical orthogonal polynomial sequence (Jacobi, Bessel, Laguerre and Hermite) (). We first derive a linear differential equation of order satisfied by w, fromwhich we deduce a recurrence relation in k for the linearizationcoefficients .
