Commutants of unbounded derivations in C*-algebras.
A KSGNS (Kasparov, Stinespring, Gel'fand, Naimark, Segal) type construction for strict (respectively, covariant non-degenerate) completely multi-positive linear maps between locally C*-algebras is described.
This mainly expository article is devoted to recent advances in the study of dynamical aspects of the Cuntz algebras 𝓞ₙ, n < ∞, via their automorphisms and, more generally, endomorphisms. A combinatorial description of permutative automorphisms of 𝓞ₙ in terms of labelled, rooted trees is presented. This in turn gives rise to an algebraic characterization of the restricted Weyl group of 𝓞ₙ. It is shown how this group is related to certain classical dynamical systems on the Cantor set. An identification...
We study II factors and associated with good generalized Bernoulli actions of groups having an infinite almost normal subgroup with the relative property (T). We prove the following rigidity result : every finite index --bimodule (in particular, every isomorphism between and ) is described by a commensurability of the groups involved and a commensurability of their actions. The fusion algebra of finite index --bimodules is identified with an extended Hecke fusion algebra, providing the...
Holomorphic isometries for the Kobayashi metric of a class of Cartan domains are characterized.
In this paper, we introduce certain Krein-space operators induced by free product algebras induced by both primes and directed graphs. We study operator-theoretic properties of such operators by computing free-probabilistic data containing number-theoretic data.
It is proved that every locally inner derivation on a symmetric norm ideal of operators is an inner derivation.
Let θ : ℳ → 𝓝 be a zero-product preserving linear map between algebras. We show that under some mild conditions θ is a product of a central element and an algebra homomorphism. Our result applies to matrix algebras, standard operator algebras, C*-algebras and W*-algebras.
