En este trabajo se propone un análisis de supervivencia basado en un modelo Gamma. Se obtienen las condiciones teóricas bajo las cuales dos funciones de supervivencia Gamma están estocásticamente ordenadas. Estos resultados se utilizan para proponer un método sencillo que permite comparar dos poblaciones cuando, a priori, se conoce que sus curvas de supervivencia están estocásticamente ordenadas. This paper proposes a general framework to compare the strength of the dependence in survival models, as time changes, i. e. given remaining lifetimes , to compare the dependence of given , and given , where . More precisely, analytical results will be obtained in the case the survival copula of is either Archimedean or a distorted copula. The case of a frailty based model will also be discussed in details.
A stochastic process cumulating random increments at random moments is studied. We model it as a two-dimensional random point process and study advantages of such an approach. A model of a heterogeneous population partitioned into a finite number of classes according an exchangeable equivalence relation is studied. With this motivation the properties of exchangeable equivalence relations are investigated and, in particular, the structure of its equivalence classes is characterized.
