Temperature states on gauge groups
From a sequence of m-fold tensor product constructions that give a hierarchy of freeness indexed by natural numbers m we examine in detail the first non-trivial case corresponding to m=2 which we call 2-freeness. We show that in this case the constructed tensor product of states agrees with the conditionally free product for correlations of order ≤ 4. We also show how to associate with 2-freeness a cocommutative *-bialgebra.
We show that the Lorentz and the SU(3) groups can be derived from the covariance principle conserving a Z₃-graded three-form on a Z₃-graded cubic algebra representing quarks endowed with non-standard commutation laws. The ternary commutation relations on an algebra generated by two elements lead to cubic combinations of three quarks or antiquarks that transform as Lorentz spinors, and binary quark-anti-quark combinations that transform as Lorentz vectors.
Using the Clifford bundle formalism we show that Frenet equations of classical differential geometry or its spinor version are the appropriate equations of motion for a classical spinning particle. We show that particular values of the curvatures appearing in Darboux bivector of the spinor form of Frenet equations produce a "classical" Dirac-Hestenes equation. Using the concept of multivector Lagrangians and Hamiltonians we provide a Lagrangian and Hamiltonian approach for our theory which then...
The most elegant definition of singularities in general relativity as b-boundary points, when applied to the closed Friedman world model, leads to the disastrous situation: both the initial and final singularities form the single point of the b-boundary which is not Hausdorff separated from the rest of space-time. We apply Alain Connes' method of non-commutative geometry, defined in terms of a C*-algebra, to this case. It turns out that both the initial and final singularities can be analysed as...
We determine the coribbon structures of some finite dimensional braided Hopf algebras generated by 2×2-matrix coalgebras constructed by S. Suzuki. As a consequence, we see that such a Hopf algebra has a coribbon structure if and only if it is of Kac-Paljutkin type.
A list of known quantum spheres of dimension one, two and three is presented.
We give a geometric construction of the phase space of the elliptic Calogero-Moser system for arbitrary root systems, as a space of Weyl invariant pairs (bundles, Higgs fields) on the -th power of the elliptic curve, where is the rank of the root system. The Poisson structure and the Hamiltonians of the integrable system are given natural constructions. We also exhibit a curious duality between the spectral varieties for the system associated to a root system, and the Lagrangian varieties for...
We describe a microlocal normal form for a symmetric system of pseudo-differential equations whose principal symbol is a real symmetric matrix with a generic crossing of eigenvalues. We use it in order to give a precise description of the microlocal solutions.
