A constructively valid counterpart to Bourbaki’s Fixpoint Lemma for chain-complete partially ordered sets is presented to obtain a condition for one closure system in a complete lattice to be stable under another closure operator of . This is then used to deal with coproducts and other aspects of frames.

For a finite Coxeter group and a Coxeter element of ; the -Cambrian fan is a coarsening of the fan defined by the reflecting hyperplanes of . Its maximal cones are naturally indexed by the -sortable elements of . The main result of this paper is that the known bijection cl between -sortable elements and -clusters induces a combinatorial isomorphism of fans. In particular, the -Cambrian fan is combinatorially isomorphic to the normal fan of the generalized associahedron for . The rays...

In this note we deal with two-factor internal direct product decompositions of a connected partially ordered set.

The aim of this paper is to define and study cardinal (direct) and ordinal operations of addition, multiplication, and exponentiation for -ary relational systems. -ary ordered sets are defined as special -ary relational systems by means of properties that seem to suitably generalize reflexivity, antisymmetry, and transitivity from the case of or 3. The class of -ary ordered sets is then closed under the cardinal and ordinal operations.

Relations introduced by Conrad, Drazin, Hartwig, Mitsch and Nambooripad are discussed on general, regular, completely semisimple and completely regular semigroups. Special properties of these relations as well as possible coincidence of some of them are investigated in some detail. The properties considered are mainly those of being a partial order or compatibility with multiplication. Coincidences of some of these relations are studied mainly on regular and completely regular semigroups.
