The paper is devoted to the study of the Cauchy problem for a nonlinear differential equation of complex order with the Caputo fractional derivative. The equivalence of this problem and a nonlinear Volterra integral equation in the space of continuously differentiable functions is established. The author considers the convergence of quasilinear nonstationary multistep methods for systems of ordinary differential with parameters. Sufficient conditions for their convergence are given. The new numerical method is tested for two examples and it turns out to be a little better than the Hamming method.
