The automorphism group of M ¯ 0 , n

Andrea Bruno, Massimiliano Mella (2013)

Journal of the European Mathematical Society

The paper studies fiber type morphisms between moduli spaces of pointed rational curves. Via Kapranov’s description we are able to prove that the only such morphisms are forgetful maps. This allows us to show that the automorphism group of M ¯ 0 , n is the permutation group on n elements as soon as n 5 .

The automorphism groups of Zariski open affine subsets of the affine plane

Zbigniew Jelonek (1994)

Annales Polonici Mathematici

We study some properties of the affine plane. First we describe the set of fixed points of a polynomial automorphism of ℂ². Next we classify completely so-called identity sets for polynomial automorphisms of ℂ². Finally, we show that a sufficiently general Zariski open affine subset of the affine plane has a finite group of automorphisms.

The bar automorphism in quantum groups and geometry of quiver representations

Philippe Caldero, Markus Reineke (2006)

Annales de l’institut Fourier

Two geometric interpretations of the bar automorphism in the positive part of a quantized enveloping algebra are given. The first is in terms of numbers of rational points over finite fields of quiver analogues of orbital varieties; the second is in terms of a duality of constructible functions provided by preprojective varieties of quivers.

The Bloch-Kato conjecture on special values of L -functions. A survey of known results

Guido Kings (2003)

Journal de théorie des nombres de Bordeaux

This paper contains an overview of the known cases of the Bloch-Kato conjecture. It does not attempt to overview the known cases of the Beilinson conjecture and also excludes the Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer point. The paper starts with a brief review of the formulation of the general conjecture. The final part gives a brief sketch of the proofs in the known cases.
