Simple singularities of multigerms of curves.

Pavel A. Kolgushkin, Ruslan R. Sadykov (2001)

Revista Matemática Complutense

We classify stably simple reducible curve singularities in complex spaces of any dimension. This extends the same classification of irreducible curve singuarities obtained by V. I. Arnold. The proof is essentially based on the method of complete transversals by J. Bruce et al.

Simplicity of generic Steiner bundles

Maria Chiara Brambilla (2005)

Bollettino dell'Unione Matematica Italiana

A Steiner bundle E on P n has a linear resolution of the form 0 O - 1 s O t E 0 . In this paper we prove that a generic Steiner bundle E is simple if and only if χ End E is less or equal to 1. In particular we show that either E is exceptional or it satisfies the inequality t n + 1 + n + 1 2 - 4 2 s .

Singular components of Springer fibers in the two-column case

Lucas Fresse (2009)

Annales de l’institut Fourier

We consider the Springer fiber u corresponding to a nilpotent endomorphism u of nilpotent order 2 . As a first result, we give a description of the elements of a given component of u which are fixed by the action of the standard torus relative to some Jordan basis of u . By using this result, we establish a necessary and sufficient condition of singularity for the components of u .

Singular localization of 𝔤 -modules and applications to representation theory

Erik Backelin, Kobi Kremnitzer (2015)

Journal of the European Mathematical Society

We prove a singular version of Beilinson–Bernstein localization for a complex semi-simple Lie algebra following ideas from the positive characteristic case settled by [BMR06]. We apply this theory to translation functors, singular blocks in the Bernstein–Gelfand–Gelfand category O and Whittaker modules.

Singular open book structures from real mappings

Raimundo Araújo dos Santos, Ying Chen, Mihai Tibăr (2013)

Open Mathematics

We define open book structures with singular bindings. Starting with an extension of Milnor’s results on local fibrations for germs with nonisolated singularity, we find classes of genuine real analytic mappings which yield such open book structures.

Singular principal G -bundles on nodal curves

Alexander Schmitt (2005)

Journal of the European Mathematical Society

In the present paper, we give a first general construction of compactified moduli spaces for semistable G -bundles on an irreducible complex projective curve X with exactly one node, where G is a semisimple linear algebraic group over the complex numbers.

Singularité de séries de Dirichlet associées à des polynômes de plusieurs variables et applications en théorie analytique des nombres

Driss Essouabri (1997)

Annales de l'institut Fourier

Soit P [ X 1 , ...
