Quiver varieties and the character ring of general linear groups over finite fields

Given a tuple $(𝒳_{1}, ..., 𝒳_{k})$ of irreducible characters of $G L_{n} (F_{q})$ we define a star-shaped quiver $Γ$ together with a dimension vector $v$ . Assume that $(𝒳_{1}, ..., 𝒳_{k})$ is generic. Our first result is a formula which expresses the multiplicity of the trivial character in the tensor product $𝒳_{1} \otimes \dots \otimes 𝒳_{k}$ as the trace of the action of some Weyl group on the intersection cohomology of some (non-affine) quiver varieties associated to $(Γ, v)$ . Relational systems containing one binary relation are investigated. Quotient relational systems are introduced and some of their properties are characterized. Moreover, homomorphisms, strong mappings and cone preserving mappings are introduced and the interplay between these notions is considered. Nous montrons qu’après une petite déformation dans $G \times G$ un tel sous-groupe agit encore librement, proprement discontinûment et cocompactement sur $G$ .

Nous définissons et entamons l’étude d’analogues infinitésimaux des quotients principaux (algèbres de Temperley-Lieb, Hecke, Birman-Wenzl-Murakami) de l’algèbre de groupe du groupe d’Artin $B_{n}$ . Ce sont des algèbres de Hopf qui correspondent à des groupes réductifs, et permettent de donner un cadre général aux représentations dérivées des représentations classiques de $B_{n}$ . Nous décomposons complètement l’algèbre de Temperley-Lieb infinitésimale, et en déduisons plusieurs résultats d’irréductibilité.
