On convolution operators with small support which are far from being convolution by a bounded measure

Edmond Granirer (1994)

Colloquium Mathematicae

Let C V p ( F ) be the left convolution operators on L p ( G ) with support included in F and M p ( F ) denote those which are norm limits of convolution by bounded measures in M(F). Conditions on F are given which insure that C V p ( F ) , C V p ( F ) / M p ( F ) and C V p ( F ) / W are as big as they can be, namely have l as a quotient, where the ergodic space W contains, and at times is very big relative to M p ( F ) . Other subspaces of C V p ( F ) are considered. These improve results of Cowling and Fournier, Price and Edwards, Lust-Piquard, and others.

Remarks on the Hilbert transform and on some families of multiplier operators related to it.

Enrico Laeng (2007)

Collectanea Mathematica

We give an overview of the behavior of the classical Hilbert Transform H seen as an operator on Lp(R) and on weak-Lp(R), then we consider other operators related to H. In particular, we discuss various versions of Discrete Hilbert Transform and Fourier multipliers periodized in frequency, giving some partial results and stating some conjectures about their sharp bounds Lp(R) → Lp(R), for 1 < p < ∞.

Riesz transforms for Dunkl transform

Bechir Amri, Mohamed Sifi (2012)

Annales mathématiques Blaise Pascal

In this paper we obtain the L p -boundedness of Riesz transforms for the Dunkl transform for all 1 < p < .

Schauder decompositions and multiplier theorems

P. Clément, B. de Pagter, F. Sukochev, H. Witvliet (2000)

Studia Mathematica

We study the interplay between unconditional decompositions and the R-boundedness of collections of operators. In particular, we get several multiplier results of Marcinkiewicz type for L p -spaces of functions with values in a Banach space X. Furthermore, we show connections between the above-mentioned properties and geometric properties of the Banach space X.
