Quasi-completeness on the Spaces of Holomorphic Germs

Roberto Luiz Soraggi (1981)

Atti della Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei. Classe di Scienze Fisiche, Matematiche e Naturali. Rendiconti Lincei. Matematica e Applicazioni

Reflected double layer potentials and Cauchy's operators

Dagmar Medková (1998)

Mathematica Bohemica

Necessary and sufficient conditions are given for the reflected Cauchy's operator (the reflected double layer potential operator) to be continuous as an operator from the space of all continuous functions on the boundary of the investigated domain to the space of all holomorphic functions on this domain (to the space of all harmonic functions on this domain) equipped with the topology of locally uniform convergence.

Regular vector lattices of continuous functions and Korovkin-type theorems-Part I

Francesco Altomare, Mirella Cappelletti Montano (2005)

Studia Mathematica

We introduce and study a new class of locally convex vector lattices of continuous functions on a locally compact Hausdorff space, which we call regular vector lattices. We investigate some general properties of these spaces and of the subspaces of so-called generalized affine functions. Moreover, we present some Korovkin-type theorems for continuous positive linear operators; in particular, we study Korovkin subspaces for finitely defined operators, for the identity operator and for positive...

Removable singularities for weighted Bergman spaces

Anders Björn (2006)

Czechoslovak Mathematical Journal

We develop a theory of removable singularities for the weighted Bergman space 𝒜 μ p ( Ω ) = { f analytic in Ω Ω | f | p d μ < } , where μ is a Radon measure on . The set A is weakly removable for 𝒜 μ p ( Ω A ) if 𝒜 μ p ( Ω A ) Hol ( Ω ) , and strongly removable for 𝒜 μ p ( Ω A ) if 𝒜 μ p ( Ω A ) = 𝒜 μ p ( Ω ) . The general theory developed is in many ways similar to the theory of removable singularities for Hardy H p spaces, B M O and locally Lipschitz spaces of analytic functions, including the existence of counterexamples to many plausible properties, e.g. the union of two compact removable singularities needs not be removable....

Representations of the spaces C ( N ) H k , p ( N )

A. Albanese, V. Moscatelli (2000)

Studia Mathematica

We give a representation of the spaces C ( N ) H k , p ( N ) as spaces of vector-valued sequences and use it to investigate their topological properties and isomorphic classification. In particular, it is proved that C ( N ) H k , 2 ( N ) is isomorphic to the sequence space s l 2 ( l 2 ) , thereby showing that the isomorphy class does not depend on the dimension N if p=2.

Section spaces of real analytic vector bundles and a theorem of Grothendieck and Poly

Dietmar Vogt (2010)

Banach Center Publications

The structure of the section space of a real analytic vector bundle on a real analytic manifold X is studied. This is used to improve a result of Grothendieck and Poly on the zero spaces of elliptic operators and to extend a result of Domański and the author on the non-existence of bases to the present case.

Semi-groupes d'opérateurs invariants et opérateurs dissipatifs invariants

Jacques Faraut, Khelifa Harzallah (1972)
