In this paper we introduce the sheaf of stratified Whitney jets of Gevrey order on the subanalytic site relative to a real analytic manifold $X$. Let $ℐ$ be a coherent subsheaf of a locally free sheaf $𝒪\left(E_0\right)$ and suppose that $ℱ=𝒪\left(E_0\right)/ℐ$ has pure codimension. Let $\Omega \subset {ℂ}^n$ be a bounded, simply connected $ℂ$-convex domain. Let $\alpha \in {\mathbb{Z}}_{+}^n$ and let $f$ be a function on $\Omega$ which is separately $C^{2{\alpha }_j-1}$-smooth with respect to $z_j$ (by which we mean jointly $C^{2{\alpha }_j-1}$-smooth with respect to $\mathrm{Re}{z}_j$, $\mathrm{Im}{z}_j$). We prove that for a normed linear space $X$, if $f_1:X\to ℝ$ is continuous and semiconvex with modulus $\omega$, $f_2:X\to ℝ$ is continuous and semiconcave with modulus $\omega$ and $f_1\le f_2$, then there exists $f\in C^{1,\omega }\left(X\right)$ such that $f_1\le f\le f_2$. Using this result we prove a generalization of Ilmanen lemma (which deals with the case $\omega \left(t\right)=t$) to the case of an arbitrary nontrivial modulus $\omega$. This generalization (where a $C_{loc}^{1,\omega }$ function is inserted) gives a positive answer to a problem formulated by A. Fathi and M. Zavidovique in 2010.

Let $X$ be a normal projective variety, and let $A$ be an ample Cartier divisor on $X$. Suppose that $X$ is not the projective space. We prove that the twisted cotangent sheaf ${\Omega }_X\otimes A$ is generically nef with respect to the polarisation $A$. As an application we prove a Kobayashi-Ochiai theorem for foliations: if $ℱ⊊T_X$ is a foliation such that $detℱ\equiv i_{ℱ}A$, then $i_{ℱ}$ is at most the rank of $ℱ$.
