Permutations avoiding an increasing number of length-increasing forbidden subsequences.
The aim of this paper is to discuss one of the most interesting and unsolved problems of the real series theory: rearrangements that preserve sums of series. Certain hypothesis about combinatorial description of the corresponding permutations is presented and basic algebraic properties of the family , introduced by it, are investigated.
In this article we look into characterizing primitive groups in the following way. Given a primitive group we single out a subset of its generators such that these generators alone (the so-called primitive generators) imply the group is primitive. The remaining generators ensure transitivity or comply with specific features of the group.
