On p-hyperellipticity of doubly symmetric Riemann surfaces.

Ewa Kozlowska-Walania (2007)

Publicacions Matemàtiques

Studying commuting symmetries of p-hyperelliptic Riemann surfaces, Bujalance and Costa found in [3] upper bounds for the degree of hyperellipticity of the product of commuting (M - q)- and (M - q')-symmetries, depending on their separabilities. Here, we find necessary and sufficient conditions for an integer p to be the degree of hyperellipticity of the product of two such symmetries, taking into account their separabilities. We also give some results concerning the existence and uniqueness of symmetries...

On pq-hyperelliptic Riemann surfaces

Ewa Tyszkowska (2005)

Colloquium Mathematicae

A compact Riemann surface X of genus g > 1 is said to be p-hyperelliptic if X admits a conformal involution ϱ, called a p-hyperelliptic involution, for which X/ϱ is an orbifold of genus p. If in addition X admits a q-hypereliptic involution then we say that X is pq-hyperelliptic. We give a necessary and sufficient condition on p,q and g for existence of a pq-hyperelliptic Riemann surface of genus g. Moreover we give some conditions under which p- and q-hyperelliptic involutions of a pq-hyperelliptic...

On products of some Toeplitz operators on polyanalytic Fock spaces

Irène Casseli (2020)

Czechoslovak Mathematical Journal

The purpose of this paper is to study the Sarason’s problem on Fock spaces of polyanalytic functions. Namely, given two polyanalytic symbols f and g , we establish a necessary and sufficient condition for the boundedness of some Toeplitz products T f T g ¯ subjected to certain restriction on f and g . We also characterize this property in terms of the Berezin transform.

On products of starlike functions. I

Georgi Dimkov (1991)

Annales Polonici Mathematici

We deal with functions given by the formula F ( z ) = z G ' ( z ) = z j = 1 n ( f j ( z ) / z ) a j where f j ( z ) are starlike of order α j and a j are complex constants. In particular, radii of starlikeness and convexity as well as orders of starlikeness and convexity are found.

On pseudospheres that are quasispheres.

John L. Lewis, Andrew Vogel (2001)

Revista Matemática Iberoamericana

We construct bounded domains D not equal to a ball in n ≥ 3 dimensional Euclidean space, Rn, for which ∂D is homeomorphic to a sphere under a quasiconformal mapping of Rn and such that n - 1 dimensional Hausdorff measure equals harmonic measure on ∂D.
