n the present paper the authors study some families of functions from a complex linear space into a complex linear space . They introduce the notion of -symmetrical function (; ) which is a generalization of the notions of even, odd and -symmetrical functions. They generalize the well know result that each function defined on a symmetrical subset of can be uniquely represented as the sum of an even function and an odd function.
There is a well known one–parameter family of left invariant CR structures on . We show how purely algebraic methods can be used to explicitly compute the canonical Cartan connections associated to these structures and their curvatures. We also obtain explicit descriptions of tractor bundles and tractor connections.
Let A be a uniform algebra on X and σ a probability measure on X. We define the Hardy spaces and the interpolating sequences S in the p-spectrum of σ. We prove, under some structural hypotheses on A and σ, that if S is a “dual bounded” Carleson sequence, then S is -interpolating with a linear extension operator for s < p, provided that either p = ∞ or p ≤ 2. In the case of the unit ball of ℂⁿ we find, for instance, that if S is dual bounded in then S is -interpolating with a linear...
We present a large class of homogeneous 2-nondegenerate CR-manifolds , both of
hypersurface type and of arbitrarily high CR-codimension, with the following property: Every CR-equivalence
between domains , in extends to a global real-analytic CR-automorphism of . We show that this class contains -orbits in Hermitian symmetric spaces of compact type, where is a real form of the complex Lie group and has an open orbit that is a bounded symmetric domain of tube type.
This paper studies local geometry of hypersurfaces of finite multitype. Catlin’s definition of multitype is applied to a general smooth hypersurface in . We prove biholomorphic equivalence of models in dimension three and describe all biholomorphisms between such models. A finite constructive algorithm for computing multitype is described. Analogous results for decoupled hypersurfaces are given.
We study a holomorphic equivariant cohomology built out of the Atiyah algebroid of an equivariant holomorphic vector bundle and prove a related localization formula. This encompasses various residue formulas in complex geometry, in particular we shall show that it contains as special cases Carrell-Liebermann’s and Feng-Ma’s residue formulas, and Baum-Bott’s formula for the zeroes of a meromorphic vector field.
We continue E. Ligocka's investigations concerning the existence of m-valent locally biholomorphic mappings from multi-connected onto simply connected domains. We decrease the constant m, and also give the minimum of m in the case of mappings from a wide class of domains onto the complex plane ℂ.
We prove that each open Riemann surface can be locally biholomorphically (locally univalently) mapped onto the whole complex plane. We also study finite-to-one locally biholomorphic mappings onto the unit disc. Finally, we investigate surjective biholomorphic mappings from Cartesian products of domains.
We define locally convex spaces LW and HW consisting of measurable and holomorphic functions in the unit ball, respectively, with the topology given by a family of weighted-sup seminorms. We prove that the Bergman projection is a continuous map from LW onto HW. These are the smallest spaces having this property. We investigate the topological and algebraic properties of HW.
