LVMB manifolds and simplicial spheres

LVM and LVMB manifolds are a large family of non kähler manifolds. For instance, Hopf manifolds and Calabi-Eckmann manifolds can be seen as LVMB manifolds. The LVM manifolds have a natural action of a real torus and the quotient of this action is a polytope. This quotient allows us to relate closely LVM manifolds to the moment-angle manifolds studied by Buchstaber and Panov. Our aim is to generalize the polytope associated to a LVM manifold to the LVMB case and study the properties of this generalization....

On Compact Complex Manifolds with Finite Automorphism Group

It is known that compact complex manifolds of general type and Kobayashi hyperbolic manifolds have finite automorphism groups. We give criteria for finiteness of the automorphism group of a compact complex manifold which allow us to produce large classes of compact complex manifolds with finite automorphism group but which are neither of general type nor Kobayashi hyperbolic.

On compact orbits in singular Kähler spaces

For a complex solvable Lie group acting holomorphically on a Kähler manifold every closed orbit is isomorphic to a torus and any two such tori are isogenous. We prove a similar result for singular Kähler spaces.
