In this paper we obtain results on existence of non-constant periodic traveling waves with arbitrary speed in infinite system of linearly coupled nonlinear oscillators on a two-dimensional lattice. Sufficient conditions for the existence of such solutions are obtained with the aid of critical point method and linking theorem.
In this paper, we study almost periodic and changing-periodic time scales considered byWang and Agarwal in 2015. Some improvements of almost periodic time scales are made. Furthermore, we introduce a new concept of periodic time scales in which the invariance for a time scale is dependent on an translation direction. Also some new results on periodic and changing-periodic time scales are presented.
We present several results on permanence and global exponential stability of Nicholson-type delay systems, which correct and generalize some recent results of Berezansky, Idels and Troib [Nonlinear Anal. Real World Appl. 12 (2011), 436-445].
We study a generalized Nicholson's blowflies model with a nonlinear density-dependent mortality term. Under appropriate conditions, we employ a novel proof to establish some criteria guaranteeing the permanence of this model. Moreover, we give an example to illustrate our main result.
