*-Compactifications
We show that the uniform compactification of a uniform space (X,𝓤) can be considered as a space of filters on X. We apply these filters to study the ℒ𝓤𝓒-compactification of a topological group.
We show that each sequentially continuous (with respect to the pointwise convergence) normed measure on a bold algebra of fuzzy sets (Archimedean -algebra) can be uniquely extended to a sequentially continuous measure on the generated Łukasiewicz tribe and, in a natural way, the extension is maximal. We prove that for normed measures on Łukasiewicz tribes monotone (sequential) continuity implies sequential continuity, hence the assumption of sequential continuity is not restrictive. This yields...
In this paper we introduce a ⊗-operation over Markov transition matrices, in the context of subshift of finite type, reproducing symbolic properties of the iterates of the critical point on a one-parameter family of unimodal maps. To the *-product between kneading sequences we associate a ⊗-product between the corresponding Markov matrices.
The purpose of this paper is to introduce and discuss the concept of -compactness for fuzzy topological spaces.
Recently Popa and Noiri [10] established some new characterizations and basic properties of -continuous multifunctions. In this paper, we improve some of their results and examine further properties of -continuous and -irresolute multifunctions. We also make corrections to some theorems of Neubrunn [7].
