If ξ(t) is the solution of homogeneous SDE in R m, and T ∃ is the first exit moment of the process from a small domain D ∃, then the total expansion for the following functional showing independence of the exit time and exit place is
We study the Hausdorff dimension of measures whose weight distribution satisfies a Markov non-homogeneous property. We prove, in particular, that the Hausdorff dimensions of this kind of measures coincide with their lower Rényi dimensions (entropy). Moreover, we show that the packing dimensions equal the upper Rényi dimensions. As an application we get a continuity property of the Hausdorff dimension of the measures, when viewed as a function of the distributed weights under the norm.
We study the long time behavior (homogenization) of a diffusion in random medium with time and space dependent coefficients. The diffusion coefficient may degenerate. In Stochastic Process. Appl. (2007) (to appear), an invariance principle is proved for the critical rescaling of the diffusion. Here, we generalize this approach to diffusions whose space-time scaling differs from the critical one.
We find a probabilistic representation of the Laplace transform of some special functional of geometric Brownian motion using squared Bessel and radial Ornstein-Uhlenbeck processes. Knowing the transition density functions of these processes, we obtain closed formulas for certain expectations of the relevant functional. Among other things we compute the Laplace transform of the exponent of the T transforms of Brownian motion with drift used by Donati-Martin, Matsumoto, and Yor in a variety of identities...
