We consider a double analytic family of fractional integrals along the curve , introduced for α = 2 by L. Grafakos in 1993 and defined by , where ψ is a bump function on ℝ supported near the origin, , z,γ ∈ ℂ, Re γ ≥ 0, α ∈ ℝ, α ≥ 2. We determine the set of all (1/p,1/q,Re z) such that maps to boundedly. Our proof is based on product-type kernel arguments. More precisely, we prove that the kernel is a product kernel on ℝ², adapted to the curve ; as a consequence, we show that the operator...
The commutator of a singular integral operator with homogeneous kernel Ω(x)/|x|ⁿ is studied, where Ω is homogeneous of degree zero and has mean value zero on the unit sphere. It is proved that is a sufficient condition for the kth order commutator to be bounded on for all 1 < p < ∞. The corresponding maximal operator is also considered.
Let E be a Riesz space. By defining the spaces and of E, we prove that the center of is and show that the injectivity of the Arens homomorphism m: Z(E)” → Z(E˜) is equivalent to the equality . Finally, we also give some representation of an order continuous Banach lattice E with a weak unit and of the order dual E˜ of E in which are different from the representations appearing in the literature.
Let Ω be an open subset of with 0 ∈ Ω. Furthermore, let be a second-order partial differential operator with domain where the coefficients are real, and the coefficient matrix satisfies bounds 0 < C(x) ≤ c(|x|)I for all x ∈ Ω. If for some λ > 0 where then we establish that is L₁-unique, i.e. it has a unique L₁-extension which generates a continuous semigroup, if and only if it is Markov unique, i.e. it has a unique L₂-extension which generates a submarkovian semigroup. Moreover...
Let m be a Radon measure on C without atoms. In this paper we prove that if the Cauchy transform is bounded in L2(m), then all 1-dimensional Calderón-Zygmund operators associated to odd and sufficiently smooth kernels are also bounded in L2(m).
In this paper Lambert multipliers acting between spaces are characterized by using some properties of conditional expectation operator. Also, Fredholmness of corresponding bounded operators is investigated.
The time-ordered exponential of a time-dependent matrix is defined as the function of that solves the first-order system of coupled linear differential equations with non-constant coefficients encoded in . The authors have recently proposed the first Lanczos-like algorithm capable of evaluating this function. This algorithm relies on inverses of time-dependent functions with respect to a non-commutative convolution-like product, denoted by . Yet, the existence of such inverses, crucial to...
