About G -bundles over elliptic curves

Yves Laszlo (1998)

Annales de l'institut Fourier

Let G be a complex algebraic group, simple and simply connected, T a maximal torus and W the Weyl group. One shows that the coarse moduli space M G ( X ) parametrizing S -equivalence classes of semistable G -bundles over an elliptic curve X is isomorphic to [ Γ ( T ) Z X ] / W . By a result of Looijenga, this shows that M G ( X ) is a weighted projective space.

Algebraic and symplectic Gromov-Witten invariants coincide

Bernd Siebert (1999)

Annales de l'institut Fourier

For a complex projective manifold Gromov-Witten invariants can be constructed either algebraically or symplectically. Using the versions of Gromov-Witten theory by Behrend and Fantechi on the algebraic side and by the author on the symplectic side, we prove that both points of view are equivalent

Equivariant degenerations of spherical modules for groups of type A

Stavros Argyrios Papadakis, Bart Van Steirteghem (2012)

Annales de l’institut Fourier

V. Alexeev and M. Brion introduced, for a given a complex reductive group, a moduli scheme of affine spherical varieties with prescribed weight monoid. We provide new examples of this moduli scheme by proving that it is an affine space when the given group is of type A and the prescribed weight monoid is that of a spherical module.

Families of linear differential equations related to the second Painlevé equation

Marius van der Put (2011)

Banach Center Publications

This paper is a sequel to [vdP-Sa] and [vdP]. The two classes of differential modules (0,-,3/2) and (-,-,3), related to PII, are interpreted as fine moduli spaces. It is shown that these moduli spaces coincide with the Okamoto-Painlevé spaces for the given parameters. The geometry of the moduli spaces leads to a proof of the Painlevé property for PII in standard form and in the Flaschka-Newell form. The Bäcklund transformations, the rational solutions and the Riccati solutions for PII are derived...
