Invariant distances and invariant differential metrics in locally convex spaces
2000 Mathematics Subject Classification: Primary 32F45.We present the Carathéodory and the inner Caratheodory distances and the Carathéodory-Reiffen metric on generalized Neil parabolas in Cn. It is a generalization of the results from [4] and [5].This work is a part of the Research Grant No. 1 PO3A 005 28, which is supported by public means in the programme promoting science in Poland in the years 2005–2008.
In this paper we develop fundamental tools and methods to study meromorphic functions in an equivariant setup. As our main result we construct quotients of Rosenlicht-type for Stein spaces acted upon holomorphically by complex-reductive Lie groups and their algebraic subgroups. In particular, we show that in this setup invariant meromorphic functions separate orbits in general position. Applications to almost homogeneous spaces and principal orbit types are given. Furthermore, we use the main result...
Let D be a symmetric irreducible Siegel domain. Pluriharmonic functions satisfying a certain rather weak growth condition are characterized by r+2 operators (r+1 in the tube case), r being the rank of the underlying symmetric cone
The purpose of this paper is to present a concise survey of the main properties of biholomorphically invariant pluricomplex Green functions and to describe a number of new examples of such functions. A concept of pluricomplex geodesics is also discussed.
One of the fundamental objectives of the theory of symplectic singularities is to study the symplectic invariants appearing in various geometrical contexts. In the paper we generalize the symplectic cohomological invariant to the class of generalized canonical mappings. We analyze the global structure of Lagrangian Grassmannian in the product symplectic space and describe the local properties of generic symplectic relations.
A survey of properties of invariant pseudodistances and pseudometrics is given with special stress put on completeness and product property.
