Properties of Peak Sets in Weakly Pseudoconvex Boundaries in C2.
We give a characterization for two different concepts of quasi-analyticity in Carleman ultraholomorphic classes of functions of several variables in polysectors. Also, working with strongly regular sequences, we establish generalizations of Watson’s Lemma under an additional condition related to the growth index of the sequence.
We consider the set of representing measures at 0 for the disc and the ball algebra. The structure of the extreme elements of these sets is investigated. We give particular attention to representing measures for the 2-ball algebra which arise by lifting representing measures for the disc algebra.
The classical Riemann Mapping Theorem states that a nontrivial simply connected domain Ω in ℂ is holomorphically homeomorphic to the open unit disc 𝔻. We also know that "similar" one-dimensional Riemann surfaces are "almost" holomorphically equivalent. We discuss the same problem concerning "similar" domains in ℂⁿ in an attempt to find a multidimensional quantitative version of the Riemann Mapping Theorem

The essential spectrum of bundle shifts over Parreau-Widom domains is studied. Such shifts are models for subnormal operators of special (Hardy) type considered earlier in [AD], [R1] and [R2]. By relating a subnormal operator to the fiber of the maximal ideal space, an application to cluster values of bounded analytic functions is obtained.
Let HE∞ be the space of all bounded holomorphic functions on the unit ball of the Banach space E. In this note we study the algebra homomorphisms on HE∞ which are strict continuous.
