On Gorenstein flat preenvelopes of complexes
Let Λ be a finite dimensional algebra over an algebraically closed field k and Λ has tame representation type. In this paper, the structure of Hom-spaces of all pairs of indecomposable Λ-modules having dimension smaller than or equal to a fixed natural number is described, and their dimensions are calculated in terms of a finite number of finitely generated Λ-modules and generic Λ-modules. In particular, such spaces are essentially controlled by those of the corresponding generic modules.
We introduce the k-radicals of Green's relations in semirings with a semilattice additive reduct, introduce the notion of left k-regular (right k-regular) semirings and characterize these semirings by k-radicals of Green's relations. We also characterize the semirings which are distributive lattices of left k-simple subsemirings by k-radicals of Green's relations.
We construct non faithful direct summands of tilting (resp. cotilting) modules large enough to inherit a functorial tilting (resp. cotilting) behaviour.
Starting with some observations on (strong) lifting of idempotents, we characterize a module whose endomorphism ring is semiregular with respect to the ideal of endomorphisms with small image. This is the dual of Yamagata's work [Colloq. Math. 113 (2008)] on a module whose endomorphism ring is semiregular with respect to the ideal of endomorphisms with large kernel.
A minimal non-tilted triangular algebra such that any proper semiconvex subcategory is tilted is called a tilt-semicritical algebra. We study the tilt-semicritical algebras which are quasitilted or one-point extensions of tilted algebras of tame hereditary type. We establish inductive procedures to decide whether or not a given strongly simply connected algebra is tilted.
A module M satisfies the restricted minimum condition if M/N is artinian for every essential submodule N of M. A ring R is called a right RM-ring whenever satisfies the restricted minimum condition as a right module. We give several structural necessary conditions for particular classes of RM-rings. Furthermore, a commutative ring R is proved to be an RM-ring if and only if R/Soc(R) is noetherian and every singular module is semiartinian.
A new characteristic property of von Neumann regular rings is proposed in terms of annihilators of elements. An ELT fully idempotent ring is a regular ring whose simple left (or right) modules are either injective or projective. Artinian rings are characterized in terms of Noetherian rings. Strongly regular rings and rings whose two-sided ideals are generated by central idempotents are characterized in terms of special annihilators. Quasi-Frobeniusean rings are characterized in terms of -injectivity....
