Let be a compact Kähler manifold and be a smooth closed form of bidegree which is nonnegative and big. We study the classes of -plurisubharmonic functions of finite weighted Monge-Ampère energy. When the weight has fast growth at infinity, the corresponding functions are close to be bounded.
We show that if a positive Radon measure is suitably dominated by the Monge-Ampère capacity, then it belongs to the range of the Monge-Ampère operator on some class . This is done by establishing...
We generalize and give an elementary proof of Kelly’s refinement [9] of Shoemaker’s result [11] on the birationality of certain BHK-mirrors. Our approach uses a construction that is equivalent to the Krawitz generalization [10] of the duality in Berglund-Hübsch [2].
A version of the Schwarz lemma for correspondences is studied. Two applications are obtained namely, the 'non-increasing' property of the Kobayashi metric under correspondences and a weak version of the Wong-Rosay theorem for convex, finite type domains admitting a 'non-compact' family of proper correspondences.
This is the content of the lectures given by the author at the winter school KAWA3 held at the University of Barcelona in 2012 from January 30 to February 3. The main goal was to give an account of viscosity techniques and to apply them to degenerate Complex Monge-Ampère equations. We will survey the main techniques used in the viscosity approach and show how to adapt them to degenerate complex Monge-Ampère equations. The heart of the matter in this approach is the “Comparison Principle" which allows...
Let us consider a projective manifold and a smooth volume form on . We define the gradient flow associated to the problem of -balanced metrics in the quantum formalism, the -balancing flow. At the limit of the quantization, we prove that (see Theorem 1) the -balancing flow converges towards a natural flow in Kähler geometry, the -Kähler flow. We also prove the long time existence of the -Kähler flow and its convergence towards Yau’s solution to the Calabi conjecture of prescribing the...
This paper is one in a series generalizing our results in [12, 14, 15, 20] on the existence of extremal metrics to the general almost-homogeneous manifolds of cohomogeneity one. In this paper, we consider the affine cases with hypersurface ends. In particular, we study the existence of Kähler-Einstein metrics on these manifolds and obtain new Kähler-Einstein manifolds as well as Fano manifolds without Kähler-Einstein metrics. As a consequence of our study, we also give a solution to the problem...
We generalize the work of Jian Song by computing the α-invariant of any (nef and big) toric line bundle in terms of the associated polytope. We use the analytic version of the computation of the log canonical threshold of monomial ideals to give the log canonical threshold of any non-negatively curved singular hermitian metric on the line bundle, and deduce the α-invariant from this.
Let be a surface with a symplectic form, let be a symplectomorphism of , and let be the mapping torus of . We show that the dimensions of moduli spaces of embedded pseudoholomorphic curves in , with cylindrical ends asymptotic to periodic orbits of or multiple covers thereof, are bounded from above by an additive relative index. We deduce some compactness results for these moduli spaces. This paper establishes some of the foundations for a program with Michael Thaddeus, to understand...
Let (X, L) be a polarized algebraic manifold. Then for every test configuration μ = (X, L,Ψ) for (X, L) of exponent ℓ, we obtain an ℓ-th root (κ, D) of μ and Gm-equivariant desingularizations ι : X → X and η : X → Y, both isomorphic onX X̂ 0, such that [...] whereκ= (Y, Q, η) is a test configuration for (X, L) of exponent 1, and D is an effective Q-divisor onX such that ℓD is an integral divisor with support in the fiber X0. Then (κ, D) can be chosen in such a way that [...] where C1 and C2 are...
