Hai-Yan Li, Yun-An Hu, Rui-Qi Wang (2013)

Kybernetika

This paper is concerned with the finite-time synchronization problem for a class of cross-strict feedback underactuated hyperchaotic systems. Using finite-time control and backstepping control approaches, a new robust adaptive synchronization scheme is proposed to make the synchronization errors of the systems with parameter uncertainties zero in a finite time. Appropriate adaptive laws are derived to deal with the unknown parameters of the systems. The proposed method can be applied to a variety...

Zakia Hammouch, Toufik Mekkaoui (2014)

Nonautonomous Dynamical Systems

In this paper we investigate the dynamic behavior of a nonautonomous fractional-order biological system. With the stability criterion of active nonlinear fractional systems, the synchronization of the studied chaotic system is obtained. On the other hand, using a Phase-Locked-Loop (PLL) analogy we synchronize the same system. The numerical results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

Chaotic behavior and modified function projective synchronization of a simple system with one stable equilibrium

Zhouchao Wei, Zhen Wang (2013)

Kybernetika

By introducing a feedback control to a proposed Sprott E system, an extremely complex chaotic attractor with only one stable equilibrium is derived. The system evolves into periodic and chaotic behaviors by detailed numerical as well as theoretical analysis. Analysis results show that chaos also can be generated via a period-doubling bifurcation when the system has one and only one stable equilibrium. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, the adaptive control law and the parameter update law are derived...

Kybernetika

A new class of controlled time-varying complex dynamical networks with similarity is investigated and a decentralized holographic-structure controller is designed to stabilize the network asymptotically at its equilibrium states. The control design is based on the similarity assumption for isolated node dynamics and the topological structure of the overall network. Network synchronization problems, both locally and globally, are considered on the ground of decentralized control approach. Each sub-controller...

Drive network to a desired orbit by pinning control

Quanjun Wu, Hua Zhang (2015)

Kybernetika

The primary objective of the present paper is to develop an approach for analyzing pinning synchronization stability in a complex delayed dynamical network with directed coupling. Some simple yet generic criteria for pinning such coupled network are derived analytically. Compared with some existing works, the primary contribution is that the synchronization manifold could be chosen as a weighted average of all the nodes states in the network for the sake of practical control tactics, which displays...

By using the method of projection for center manifold computation, the subcritical and the supercritical Hopf bifurcation were analyzed and obtained. Then, in accordance with the Poincare compactification of polynomial vector field in R 3 , the dynamical behaviors at infinity were described completely. Moreover, a...

The aperiodically intermittent control strategy is proposed to stabilize the complex-variable delayed systems. By taking the advantage of Lyapunov method in complex field and utilizing inequality technology, some sufficient conditions are derived to ensure the stability of uncertain complex-variable delayed systems,...

Sufficient conditions for the finite-time adaptive outer synchronization are derived based on the finite-time stability theory. Finally, numerical examples are examined to demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the...

Kybernetika

A fractional differential controller for incommensurate fractional unified chaotic system is described and proved by using the Gershgorin circle theorem in this paper. Also, based on the idea of a nonlinear observer, a new method for generalized synchronization (GS) of this system is proposed. Furthermore, the GS technique is applied in secure communication (SC), and a chaotic masking system is designed. Finally, the proposed fractional differential controller, GS and chaotic masking scheme are...

Generalized synchronization in a system of several non-autonomous oscillators coupled by a medium

Rogério Martins, Gonçalo Morais (2015)

Kybernetika

An abstract theory on general synchronization of a system of several oscillators coupled by a medium is given. By generalized synchronization we mean the existence of an invariant manifold that allows a reduction in dimension. The case of a concrete system modeling the dynamics of a chemical solution on two containers connected to a third container is studied from the basics to arbitrary perturbations. Conditions under which synchronization occurs are given. Our theoretical results are complemented...

Generalized synchronization in the networks with directed acyclic structure

Sergej Čelikovský, Volodymyr Lynnyk, Anna Lynnyk, Branislav Rehák (2023)

Kybernetika

Generalized synchronization in the direct acyclic networks, i.e. the networks represented by the directed tree, is presented here. Network nodes consist of copies of the so-called generalized Lorenz system with possibly different parameters yet mutually structurally equivalent. The difference in parameters actually requires the generalized synchronization rather than the identical one. As the class of generalized Lorenz systems includes the well-known particular classes such as (classical) Lorenz...

In this paper the issue of impulsive stabilization and synchronization of uncertain financial hyperchaotic systems with parameters perturbation is investigated. Applying the impulsive control theory, some less conservative and easily verified criteria for the stabilization and synchronization of financial hyperchaotic systems are derived. The control gains and impulsive intervals can be variable. Moreover, the boundaries of the stable region are also estimated according to the equidistant impulse...

Applications of Mathematics

The existence of synchronization is an important issue in complex dynamical networks. In this paper, we study the synchronization of impulsive coupled oscillator networks with the aid of rotating periodic solutions of impulsive system. The type of synchronization is closely related to the rotating matrix, which gives an insight for finding various types of synchronization in a united way. We transform the synchronization of impulsive coupled oscillators into the existence of rotating periodic solutions...

Jianyi Jing, Lequan Min, Geng Zhao (2008)

Kybernetika

This paper presents two theorems for designing controllers to achieve directional partial generalized synchronization (PGS) of two independent (chaotic) differential equation systems or two independent (chaotic) discrete systems. Two numerical simulation examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed theorems. It can be expected that these theorems provide new tools for understanding and studying PGS phenomena and information encryption.

In this paper, we study lag synchronization between two dynamical networks with non-derivative and derivative couplings via pinning control. We design two types of pinning control schemes, including linear and adaptive feedback controllers. With the corresponding control algorithms, we obtain two theorems on the lag synchronization based on Schur complement and Barbalat's lemma. In addition, we obtain the domain for the linear feedback gains. Finally, we provide two numerical examples to show the...

Jian-Bing Hu, Hua Wei, Ye-Feng Feng, Xiao-Bo Yang (2019)

Kybernetika

The synchronization of fractional-order complex networks with delay is investigated in this paper. By constructing a novel Lyapunov-Krasovskii function V and taking integer derivative instead of fractional derivative of the function, a sufficient criterion is obtained in the form of linear matrix inequalities to realize synchronizing complex dynamical networks. Finally, a numerical example is shown to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.
